I though i would start this thread to see what different custom inlays Tber's have, also i have a quiery,
i have a fretless 5 string fretless warwick rockbass corvette, now i am planning to put a custom inlay onto the fingerboard simply because the bass is fantastic and personally i would like to use this bass as a tester for the future. i have had custom inlays on standard fretted guitars, but i am wondering whether putting one on a fretless is a good idea and whether it affects the playability due to the laquer that will be needed to protect the inlay?
