I'm curious to see the way you guys altered your T-birds. I'm looking to see something very aesthetically pleasing. So let's see what you guys have done!

pots & jack: $14
knobs:$8
res-o-lite keys: $100
pickguard: $35
pickups and pickup bezels: $600
total (bass and parts only):$1388 ( i did all of the labor and made the new nut myself).
and i actually found a hardshell case (an epiphone t bird case) that with a little modding, fits it very well. the case cost $79 including shipping |

If someone here was selling one used or I could just use PayPal I probably would have picked up one of these Czech birds already and experimented on it, but the whole bank transfer rigmarole has made me gun shy.

A lot of mine have been customized in some fashion or another, I have 2 single P/U BaCH's like John K - The black one is from the group produced and it came with a tummy cut.
Mine both have custom PG's in Pearloid and have Mike Lull's exact replica of Gibson's 1963 Thunderbird pickup.
8 string Non Reverse....
2 Custom painted '76s by Mike Lull
A re-finned Orville, (Gibson Japan) mpdified with a two point bridge........Fantastic bass!
A "Fenderbird" made from Epi.
And a Gibson Nikki Sixx Mk.II, all hardware replaced with chrome parts, (Hipshot, Gibson) new PG, TRC rewired VVT and again Mike Lull's Thunderbird pickups. |

I'm in the Netherlands. The BaCHbird was my initiative. I gave BacH all the specs, drawings and pics. |

We call it the BaCHbird Deluxe
It has Chi Sonic humbuckers
CTS pots
Orange drop capacitor
Res-O Lites machine heads (reverse wind)
Custom pickguard with Bird logo. And Deluxe where the thumb rest would be
And here's my own BaCHbird after some modifications: |
