Has anyone ever erased the brand name on their headstock and put in their own name on it?

Is that a Lakland headstock with the Shinebox decal on it??

Personally, I don't think I would ever remove an OEM headstock decal. But, I built a Warmoth body/Allparts neck Jazz recently and did my own headstock decal.

How do you actually make the decal and put it on the headstock? And how do you erase the one that's already there?

I want one with "Bad Mother****er" on it. Just like the wallet in Pulp Fiction.

Oh, DAMN that's awesome. These are badass headstock decals.

I'm jealous. Teach me how to do this. I want to get a cheap, throwaway SX just so I can play with the headstock.

I work in a print shop where we design and cut custom vinyl... I think all my basses will have unique headstock logos now.
