CV 50 or a CV 60

Trying to decide. I welcome any insight! Just want a sub $300 4-string. New.

I assume you're comparing the 50s P and 60s P? Depends if you want the single coil sound or split pickup sound... completely different.

They're very different basses. Different look, different pickups, different tonality, different neck. Which do you prefer? The original '51 PBass style or the "new improved" style that came to market in '57. And I use "new improved" euphemistically.

I love that the 51 comes in LPB. I also love the sonic blue of the 60s. I would go with the 51.
