CV 60's Jazz pickguard upgrade- Warmoth?

So I love my Classic Vibe, but I kind of hate the pickguard, and I'm thinking about upgrading to a Warmoth tortoiseshell guard. Has anyone else done this? What's the alignment like? And does the Warmoth actually look any better? Thanks!

I bought a jazz bass pickguard from Warmoth about 10 years ago and it did not line up well with my 1995 American Standard Jazz Bass. It was mostly an issue with the control plate and some pickguard screw alignment. Things may have changed with their pickguards by now.

I don't think warmoth would work. I tried a japanese Squier pickguard on my CV but it didn't align well. So I just put the CV back on.
