CV 60's PBass upgrades...

Sign in to disble this ad
those if you who have this bass, did you make any upgrades? do you feel it's needed?

i have one and love the feel way more than many of the Fenders and such i tried out when i bot the CV...and am still blown away by the fast neck when i come home from a music store and try stuff out...this neck is just awesome!

but...the pickup...it's great but i think i may want to try a Lawrence P-46...or a Fralin...

anyone here swap pickups on their CV 60's PBass?

would it just send the bass to another level? tone wise? comparable to more pricey instruments?

i think i also want a black pick guard and a cream colored pickup cover...i have the Fiesta Red CV 60's P...damn good feeling bass and it's light enough to not hurt when you wear it!

I put a DiMarzio in mine, but it didn't make a huge difference, but I do have more bottom end. The other thing I did was put Hipshot Ultralites on it.
