I recently changed the strings on my bass from Chromes to TI Jazz flats and now the D&G sound flat or muted but there is no debris or anything to mute them.

My Chromes do the same thing. Great sustain on E and A, just a plunk & plink on D and G respectively.

hmm...
is there anyway to improve the sound, like file the nut or adjust the bridge ?. I'm not to handy with the finer adjustments on a bass.
