Sometimes I surf the net looking for Danelectro news. On Fort Madison Guitars I found this
If you look at the bottom right you will see a "new" Danelectro bass in black and aqua.
That's the first time Danelectro reissues Silvertone's dolphin headstock bass. Well, they didn't make a real reissue, originals one had only one pickup and two controls, but I am pretty sure someone will like them. |

| | | | I don't know if they already have those guitars, I think they will be available in a few months. You're lucky to live near Fort Madison, with all those Danelectros it seems a heaven for me (even if I think it's the only place were someone will ask you a thousand dollars for a '90s longhorn reissue). |

Benched yet another new one yesterday and I just couldn't believe it. There are just so many problems with them.

Single pickup, guitar size tuners. They even brought back the bridge. Its ..er..ahh...different!
Labella is now making strings for these basses. I've used this as a "Tic Tak" bass, using Baritone guitar strings and such. It hasn't got a very wide string spacing at all and it's got a very flat radius. Mine weighs nothing |
