Is that a great bass or what? I made a pearl pick guard for mine which you can't see from the picture. I also recently installed Shaller tuners on it. I has a long slim 34" neck which is what I always wanted in my Long Horn.

I have a left-handed black DC bass. Not sure what year it would be. Fun to play. I love the narrow string spacing and how it weighs so little.

Love the copperburst (or coralburst... or whatever they call it). Do you want a number?

New Dano owner here.
I'll get some pics up asap. Mine's the black/white one "like a Wild Cat" but without down sloping "horns".
Just a few questions.
It's got a shim in neck pocket & after I got the neck off & adjusted it, it's still buzzing on the top few frets (closest to body).
Should I remove the shim, just adjust the saddles up higher...???

My Dano sat in a corner for quite a while before I began to use it regularly . At first it was a little odd playing a shorter scale .

Hang on to the Dano for a while ... looks like the Korean original re-issue . You got lucky .

In regards to the questions on my longhorn above.

Its a 1998 RI korean made, bought from the original owner, hang tags and all. I bought it from the classifieds a few days ago , it was a steal at $235 shipped.

I owned a blue burst 1999 RI korean made, I got it in 2011 for $150 on craigs. The guy lowered the price for 6 months before I bought it, I sold it for $300 and automatically regreted it and missed it.

Sign me up too.
This model's called a 63 Reissue I think.
Long scale. Got it in Auckland for a bargain.
Please see my post above & any hints appreciated.

What strings are you guys using on em?
None on mine in this pic as it's getting ready to fly to Aus with me.

It's got the stock strings on now, but was wondering if anyone's using flats or tapewounds?

Tell us about these basses?

I'm assuming that to be a Blueburst reissue on the right, and a Dead On 58 on the left... what about the back row? Some sort of baritone? I don't recognize the headstock logo.

Both are Jerry Jones 4 and 6-string basses. Former maker of high quality Dano-style instruments. I also have a JJ electric sitar.
