| Never played a Hodad bass but I believe some of them came with a chorus knob - kind of an on-board pedal thing I guess that might be interesting.
I have the SS Dano Longhorn 1st Korean reissue (with out the headstock truss rod access) and just love the sound this thing puts out. Very thumpy in some settings and ringing top end in other settings. This bass is very sensitive to right hand placement and adds an additional level of tone control at a much greater degree than most of my other basses. I'm using nickel rounds right now but am considering trying tapewounds or flats to make the tone even more unique.
