DeGier BeBop Bass

I am considering a DeGier Bebop. Any of you have experience with his bass after the honeymoon period? Also would you consider it on par with all the other high end contenders? I was thinking of a Ash Body with Rosewood board and Fralin pickups.
The other concern I have is the expense of sending the bass back if it needs some kind of major adjustment. Guess I need some hand holding.

Thanks

bebop

Hi,

I replied your PM, mine will be shipped in 2 weeks time. I will let you know my comparation with other hi end basses.
The reason I am buying this bass is because I am more and more into passive basses, which I like the sound better.
I have Sadowsky, Fbass VF4, etc, I play them passive.
I have 3 CB basses , 2 of them passive.
I prefer simple things, and you know my favorite bass now? my 70's P bass , very simple and monster tone.
