Gotta show off my new Dingwall!

Got this used from Guitar Center for 1700 straight up. I was able to talk them into giving it to me at that price without taxes and shipping and all that crap. Saved over 200 bucks.

Super happy with the tone of this guy! I'm thinking about throwing some Payson flats on it soon too.

I'd say you are going to have a very happy new year playing this super bass! The Super J's are my favorites.

Congratulations! Did you custom order or find it in stock? It looks brand new.

I got it second-hand / used for a very good price.

Mark from www.bassdirect.co.uk has some lovely basses in stock and I check his site every other day for any new bargains that come in. I got lucky with this one.

I must admit I've always been a little intimidated by the fanned fret thing but these are starting to spark my interest, probably because it would be something completely new... Looking at an AB1 6-string with a flame maple top like jwr's 5-string... Or maybe start off with an ABZ and see how these work for me.

No intimidation needed. 10 minutes in you won't notice it on 90% of what you play. Of course, that doesn't apply to all players, but 85% of the time, it is true every time.
