I am officially the proud owner of a Dingwall Super J5 (passive) in ash (clear finish) with the Morado fingerboard. The board sets off the baltic amber pickguard nicely.
My diabolical plan is to convert it to PJ.
Shipping today and should be here Thursday.
Weeeeeeeee !

Corrected the alder to read correctly for ash.

Corrected the alder to read correctly for ash. | I have to respectfully disagree. I LOVE my 4 string Z2 and if I could only keep one of my three Dingwalls, two of which are fivers, I would be hard-pressed to let go of my Z2-4! It plays like buttah! |

All kidding aside, a four was not an option for me as I sold my one and only fiver.

I have one more Dingwall I need to purchase, and that is a 4 string Super P. Then I will have two fours and two fives, and I will be very happy! |

He looked very comfortable with that bass in his hands. Looks like a floating thumb right hand technique he was sporting. I approve!! |

So glad that everyone here has a sense of humor.
Thanks to you and Tom for mentioning that the E's kill on the fours. Good to know go-forward.
Received my Fed X tracking number this evening. Scheduled for Thursday delivery. It's going to be a painfully long 48 hours.
I am just praying that since this is clear coated, that I get a good looking piece of ash. I can't imagine Sheldon using crappy wood floor plank but I will still stress until it gets here.
On a positive note, box is factory sealed so no 13 year old has used it to slap through Smoke On The Water.
