Do you find a blueburst G&L L2500 elegant? Just wonder... |
Absolutely beautiful IMHO The only reason why I ain't got it it's because my G&Ls are "carved top" ones, so ash bodies with carved maple tops. Glossy, the L2000, satin finished, the L2500, and rosewood fingerboard for these were the only options available But I do like blueburst a lot (and american greenburst too, yet can't afford it) being it with both rosewood and/or maple fingerboard IMHO that's the best lookin' finish (as I said, together with american greenburst) I just physically prefered carved tops Cheers, Wallace |
I like blueburst and had one for a while. I wouldn't call them or any other bass elegant though. |

Personally I don't like many burst finishes, they just look cheap to me. I prefer solid colors/stains. |

I think blue and greenburst finishes are pretty awful. If they are over a quilted top and the bass has gold hardware then you have the unholy grail. |

Bueburst is one of my favorite finishes. As has been posted by others, "elegant" isn't an adjective I usually apply to any bass. |

I don't think I would use the word "elegant," but I love the blue burst finish on my G&L Comanche. |
Ok, till now, ones want to puke on it, once loves it, but none says itīs elegant..... If I ware a suit and play it??? |
if it looks like a blue bengal tiger yes, otherwise maybe not |
I love blueburst on almost any bass, so I'd say yes. |

I think blueburst is absolutely hideous. Does that mean you shouldn't play one? Absolutely not... |
I had one and didn't care for how it looked. A big part of that is the no pickguard thing. Great playing and sounding basses though. |
Never been a fan of that color. ymmv of course |
