Does anyone know this bass guitar?

I found this from the local auctions website and I wonder if it would be worth 'saving'. The logo on the head stock says 'Burns' but I tried to find similar bass from the depths of the Internet but nothing. If anyone's got any information about it, I'd appriciate it.

Probably some cheap piece of crap. Looks like an old Tiesco bass if you ask me.

I'm sure there is no relation to Burns of London...

Japanese from the 60s....probably Teisco or Guyatone.
