Dr lo-rider length I use Lakland 55-02. 35" scale. Is the DR lo-rider 5 string long enough to string through body? |
Yes, DR's are long enough. If you want to make sure, make a mark on one of your existing strings just past the nut. Remove it, and measure from your mark to the start of the ball end. This is the winding length you need. Here are the various winding lengths my manufacturer. Also, this the best place on the internet to buy strings, and as a TB user you will get a discount! http://www.bassstringsonline.com/Bas...r_ep_47-1.html |
Can't answer your question, but if you ask Jason at Bass Strings online, he'll help you out. Who knows. He may even drop by this thread :) He helped out with an odd ball bass that requires extra long scale strings, but is regular 34" scale. |
1 Attachment(s) This is one of my 35" scale basses with DRs. It's not through body but I measured how much outer wrap is past the nut. I'm positive they will work. You'll probably still have 3/4" past the nut I'm guessing. |
I had a Lakland 55-60 and used DR Lo-Riders, strung through body, and had no issues. |
