The Fender Squier single coil, + 1 more pickup would be a good budget "off the shelf" solution too.

It was supposed to be in "near mint, showroom condition". I'm considering bunching two singles together in the "sweet spot" and wiring them out of phase, V-T with a 3 way toggle. Nothing fancy, just some different tones to play around with.

It's fun when I need the Fender tone.  |
