| | | | e-bay listing, is it a fake??? Found this Geddy Lee Jazz Bass listed on e-bay as no reserve. Didn't think that it looked right. Seems that the "Made In Japan" and serial numbers aren't usually on stickers, they are stamped on the neck and listed as "Crafted In Japan" I reported it as a possible counterfeit. Was I right, or off the mark... http://www.ebay.com/itm/300862330168...84.m1438.l2649 |

I know for sure that I am not an expert on the Geddy Lee, however a simple google will show that "made in Japan" was also used in addtion to "crafted in Japan"..and from pictures there are necks that look identical to that in the listing.

You are the one that needs a lesson on Japanese made Fenders.

| | | | I have seen dozens of these Geddy Lee's and never saw one marked made in japan or one with stickers for serial numbers. seems that this would be very easy to fake. If I was wrong, e-bay will not remove it, just looked unusual to me! I would rather have reported it and been wrong, than say nothing and let someone purchase something counterfeit. |

as far as letting someone else buy some thing counterfeit, dont be the hero.
they should do their research before they buy and if they dont then shame on them.
shame on the person who listed it too. bad mojo = bad mojo. |

Wow......... Quote:

shame on the person who listed it too. bad mojo = bad mojo. | Already contacted e-bay and let them know I was wrong. But that's the problem, no one looks out for anyone but themselves, philosophy is as long as it doesn't affect me, I don't care what happens! I once thought like that, but you reap what you sow. Would still rather be on this wrong end than on the other. |

That is some strange logic, I don't want to hassle you. You have to look into this before you said anything, would it have killed you to post your question here first!
I hope you at lest tried to rescind your report!
Shoot First ask questions latter!
We know you meant well. |
