I sold one of these to a buddy of mine the other day. They have a good sound to them and are relatively easy on the shoulders, however, I found issue with the pots above each p'up. There were two pots above each pickup for individual tone and volume control, and they kept getting in the way of my playing. maybe it's just bad technique.

I picked up an Airline Map a few weeks ago right from the Eastwood warehouse in Georgetown, Ontario. The guys there were great, Peter was a great guy to deal with. The tech took his time, and spent a while setting it up nicely.
I took it home and messed with it for a while at practice, took some time to dial in the sound, but ended up very happy with it. I will prob. switch to DR HiBeam roundwound strings shortly for better string balance.
I am waiting for a videoclip of our last show to be edited (my first performance with the Airline). When it comes back, I'll post a clip so you can hear it.
Love this little short scale. I suffered some nerve damage to my left hand in Dec, so this little bass has been a godsend for better dexterity, while the hand continues to heal.
