I kind of want the coil tapping pick up though, I'm stupid for not having thought of that, the humbucker sounds awesome but it is a bit scooped sounding, which for what we're doing is perfect, but part of me wants that mid growl a P has, but I need more time to mess with it and a few different amps to see what it's capable of

| | | | I wanted a pickup selector but that got lost in emails. the same with the bean is it's nice to try out different sounds with the pickups but for me the bridge pickup is so powerful on it's own and you cut through the mix better in recording and live. I knew i only need one pickup but it's nice to have another for the sake of it. |

My buddy has a Travis Bean guitar that sounds just beautiful, but it will not stay in tune due to the aluminum neck. Any temperature variations just wreak havoc on the tuning stability. T6061 aluminum has a pretty high thermal expansion coefficient.
