Why thank you! I've got a few that I regularly gig with and these are two of them. My guitarist has a firebird, so I got the thunderbird to look llike twins, lol.

I think that my next purchase is going to be an EB-4. I love the way they look and they sound great too!

Do you mean an EBM-4? No Epiphone EB-4.

Hey, All:

This beauty just arrived today. Sounds amazing, although the round wound strings are ripping up my sensitive fingers Gonna drop some half rounds on her soon. Love the tone, though, and the fit and finish are great for such a cheap bass.

Anyways, the PO's pic, my Allen Woody Rumblekat with crazy figured wood . . .

Yay, I knew this club had to be somewhere. I'll get around to posting pics of my Embassies soon enough. Very lovely instruments you guys have here!

My two Embassies!

Red one is a 2006, modified with a 0.033uF Orange Drop, CTS volume pot, a DIY (and a big hassle) ebony thumbrest, new knobs and a set of Dean Markley SR2000s, 47-107.

Black one is a 2005 (best year IMO), Allparts thumbrest and bridge cover, 40-95 Chromes.

Both are amazing. Astounded they discontinued these.

Is no one taking care of the club numbers anymore or are people just away for a really long time? I can assign if no one else wants to.

How about, if no one intervenes in a week, I'll go at it.

I've just got the ubiquitous EB-0. I brought it to the practice space along with my 5 string a few weeks ago, the 5 is tuned A standard with the thickest strings I could find. The Epi has the stock strings, still pretty new.

The 5 started acting up. The show must go on and all... tuned the little sucker down to ADGC. Used a Behringer bass DI pedal to cut the mids and it does a decent Fieldy impression. It would be funny if it wasn't for the sad part. The guys prefer it to the 5 string, which cost 20X what the Epi did.
