Anybody else get a chance to swing by the Erizias booth at NAMM? I was blown away by their stuff, just floored by the playability, comfort and tone! They had two singlecuts in particular that bowled me over, a buckeye fretted 5 with nord dc's and a glock pre, and a totally passive singlecut fretless 5 with one lane poor pu wired straight to the jack.
There's definitely something magic happening with these instruments, there was alot of buzz about them at the show. Plus these are two of the nicest guys you will ever meet. Look for an upcoming review of one of their basses in the coming months in bass musician magazine.
So did anyone else get a chance to check these out? I'd like to hear other's input. |

The best time to hit Montreal (by far) is from the last weekend in June through the 1st weekend in July for a truly amazing jazzfest-500 shows, with at least 3 free outdoor shows per night. A large pocket of downtown becomes a carless street scene. Tens of thousands of people having a good time, 20 cops, and not even a broken bottle. I love Montreal!

Pierre, the builder, took time to explain minute details and was super friendly. A true luthier and gentleman.

You didn't even mention that you can buy scotch and other bevvies and walk around in the street enjoying them ... or the amazing women with thier high heels and little skirts. Yes, Montreal is a fantastic town.
Hooray for another promising Canadian builder too.

I took it to a gig the other night and overall I have to say that this bass is just as sweet as I remember it from NAMM. Pierre is really on to something, the ergonomics/playability are outstanding. |

The time is just about right, and Pierres basses are just too sweet to pass up. I had that one in for review, and I almost couldn't bring myself to return it
here is a pic of that fretted 5 that almost does it justice | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
