ESP/LTD for a Fender Jazz

Sign in to disble this ad
Would you guys think its possible to even swap my ESP/LTD B404SM for a Fender Jazz? Last week I played an active Fender USA jazz at a GC and fell in love with the bass and the tone.

My bass has EMG pups, active EQ,and a hipshot D tuner. I was hoping I may be able to trade even up for a used Fender Jazz at a GC. My best bet would be to just sell the bass outright and then save up for the USA model but how are the used MIM Jazz basses?

Bad idea all around or does it sound feasible? Just curious what the masses may say.......I will be in Tonawanda New York this coming Friday while my wife does a jewelry show. So, while she was doing that I thought I would kill time at GC and bring my bass and see what may happen.

GC is well known for lowballing peeps for tradeins. I doubt theyd give you even trade even if they planned to sell yours for lot more then the price tag on the fender. Personally Id concider the esp ltd the nicer bass. But thats just me.
