Question ESP Snakebyte Bass

Sign in to disble this ad
Anyone knows if ESP is going to release a bass with the design of James Hetfields signature guitar called "Snakebyte"?

Just mocked that up in Photoshop:

I'd say not seeing as James doesn't play bass. Plus explorer type basses are just way too big to be useable.

I had a Dean Hollywood Z back in the early 90's, what the other person said, it was a boat anchor.

My old Hamer Blitz (explorer) was HUGE! Didn't weigh a whole lot but you had to be carefull on a small stage.

Did I say it was HUGE?!?

In the Explorer type bass category, I own an old, vintage, mid eighties Ibanez Destroyer X-Series (not to confuse with the EX-Series of the early 90's, which where not explorer type). The Destroyer model I have is like an Explorer on diet. The body width in the center, at it's narrower point, is just a bit larger then the width of the pickups. So, it's not all that huge, pretty confy, and the upper pointy end is a good arm rest when playing seated. If you can find one of these, you'd be happy.

+1. I think that's the point (pun intended).

To make an ugly instrument?

Does it compliment Hetfield's face?
