Is this even possible? Just thinking outside the Box!

Hello guys I have been bless to own several basses. I recently got on with Bass Mods out of California really loving their gear. But I fell in love with Ibanez 17 years ago and I still own a BTB 676 and a SR 305 its pearl white and I just love it. The only thing is I wanna try to change out the pickups in my SR 305. Can anybody tell me if Bartolini make pickups that can fit into the SR 305 without cutting into the body? Is this even possible to do?

bartolini make a number of different sized pickups. measure the length and width of the ones in your ibanez then refer to the bartolini website to find the pickup that matches those dimensions.

Doesn't seem to be much info about it but I'd imagine it's possible.

This post here (FS-2 Ibanez EXF 5 pickups) says that the pickups that are in the sr305, called EXF-5's, can be directly replaced with MK's, meaning the MK-5.

I don't know if that's true or not but it does sound reasonable. Maybe PM the poster of that thread.
