Yeah, it is. I haven't played it in over a year because it became totally playable over time. I'm not the first owner of it, too.

That are indeed Rotos. I tried them but didn't like, so i let them strung on this bass and kind of forgot.

Well, i actually meant "tough" in the meaning of "the string is stronger than the tuner". But taut would actually be correct, yeah

The bass (noname BTW.) was standing in a gig bag next to my bed for a year, so i think the climate wouldn't be such a problem. But if you'd see the rest of the bass, you'd be with me on taking it to the grave. The bridge catched rust in the meantime, to frets are beyond playable (buzzing like hell), missing screws, partly broken input jack, needs a new nut and a new neck in general. So all in all: I'd need to replace actually almost every part of the bass
