Ever herd of this make ?

Sign in to disble this ad
Greetings all,

I am new here, so please excuse any slights on my behalf..

Having played guitars and drums quite a while back, i have recently found myself in possesion of a second hand 5 string bass...which I hope I will soon learn to play.

I was trying to find some info on this particular bass but it seems it just doesnt exist.

It is a CARSON 5 string with a small "pointed" head stock.
There seems to be no model number on the body.
Anyone ever heard of CARSON or know where i can find out more about these instruments ???

Many thanks !

Ever heard of this make

Thanks so much for the effort,
I looked on all the usual channels but could find nothing.
It looks a decent instrument, well made ok hardware, but i have no idea what it is or where it comes from.

Thanks again dude.

I hear that, on the open market, a picture can get you between 999 and 1001 words.

No there was a CARSON bass....

Carson bass guitar | Flickr - Photo Sharing!

Appears to be "starter or intro" bass - poor photo; too dark. The name Carson had come up through in depth searches. Most likely it was a knock-off or OLP-type product.

Mystery Bass

I see most are as confused as I am...

With regard to the picture comment in all its sarcastic glory, there will be a pic as soon as I am back home to take one
(work related absence some refer to as business)

That pic on the link posted here was also the only reference i could find.

But thank you all again for all your assistance and input, please check this out again once the pic is up so we can maybe figure it out, cause it shouldn't be this hard....

I don't think troll. Let's cut him some slack, and welcome him. Welcome. Anyway, are you sure it's not Carlson?
