Ever Seen a Left-Handed Fender Bass Case?

I bought a Yammie BB300 yesterday from CL, and it came with a Fender hard case. When I opened the case, it was backwards!

I assume it is for a Left Handed bass, yes? It is is really good shape other than some corrosion on the latches - the bass was the same way - must have been sitting around a long time.

I will put it up for sale, as it is too weird for me. Any idea of the value? Would it be worth more or less than a standard Fender case??

Definitely a lefty case. I'm lefty and have a G&G case that came with my Jazz bass. Couldn't tell you about value. There may some lefty who would value a true lefty vintage case.

Lefty for sure. That's in nice shape.

If it's any help, I sold a 70s lefty case about a year ago with missing latches (otherwise it was in similar shape to yours there) for about $200 on ebay.

About 2 weeks ago, I sold a beat up one for $150.

If I had to guess, I bet you could score $250ish or a little more for that. Who knows, but it's worth a try. Best o' luck to ya.

WOW - thank you for the information. I hate using EvilBay - Maybe I will try CL for a few weeks first.

That's what mine looks like only the fur has gotten a bit "oranger" over the years.
