Is everyone hoarding their USA Peaveys??

I'm searching for either a TL-5 (recent GAS) or a USA Millennium 5+ Tiger Eye. All I can find are the cheaper Peavey imports. Has everyone finally discovered Peavey USA basses??

USA Millenium 5's come up for sale all the time. But the more specific you get (eg. Tiger Eye), the longer you're going to wait.

TL-5's come up occassionally, maybe 1 a month. I'll be selling a TL-5 on ebay in the next few weeks, so keep watching.

Prices have just about doubled in the last year.

I'm probably the biggest culprit of this.. I'll guarantee a Fury against a P any day.. ..

Hoarding.. not really .. keeping all the excellent ones.. probably.

You really want a plus if going Millenium.

Forgot..

I think the essence that now with all the cheap poorly setup gear folks are understanding what Hartley was going for.

I think the guitar center mentality may be waning a biyt on the hard core players.. I've picked up some killer deals on Reactors, BQuads, Fury etc over the last year. they'll out play any bass out there under $500

I'll be posting a Cirrus and a Bquad5 - no hoarding here.

Tim, you don't need to hoard. Don't you already have more USA Peaveys than anyone else on this board?

I've been looking for a Milly 5+ for a while as well. Tiger Eye is one of my top choices too. There are none out there!

I see TL's pop up all the time on here and on ebay. Very nice bass. I loved the sound of the 6 with the double P pickups. Even a few B quads have been up for sale here in recent weeks.

the only ones I ever see for sale are the "undesirables" i.e. BXPs. Obviously that's not a US peavey.

I'm not hoarding my tigereye Cirrus, I just can't bear to let it go for less than half of what I paid for it.
