EvilBay "Precision"

This is laughable. Looks like a vintage P neck on something else. What, I don't know. Absolutely nothing is right about the body.

That paintjob is the very definition of 'burst'... And not in a good way..

Love the strap pin location on the horn, too.

sounds amazing? I'l have to take his word for it.

it looks like it was homemade. a sunburst finish is kind of difficult to do but other than that it looks like some morons bastard creation.

also, see if you can spot the crack in the neck next to the E tuner, I'd run from this bass as fast as I could.

I sent him a message pointing out the discrepancies. He changed the ad title.

Neck looks legit but the body is trash. Wonder what other treasures he has in his studio?

OK here's a guy selling a Squier neck with a Fender decal on it:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/FENDER-squie...item4d07f08abc

And who could resist MAJOR MOJO? I dunno, blues players who want minor mojo?

What kind of pickup is that? Looks like something that Gort from The Day The Earth Stood Still would have made.

Haha. Definitely some silvery space ore. Hand forged of course.

Ya, when did Fender start making 2-bolt necks.
That paint is terrible.

Less bolts = massive vintage tone. Besides, everyone knows that it's those four bolts on the body that makes those 70's Fenders so heavy... That's why they went to the three bolt system on the jazzes.

It actually might sound good that pickup looks interesting have that pickup checked maybe rewired and maybe upgrade rest of the electronics if the neck is legit it would be worth it.

I saw the crack too. Either a home-made body or a total pooch-screw of a refinish job. And the two screws holding on the neck? What a sad instrument.

To make it worse there was a 66 that looked real that went off not that much more than this.

That one will haunt me.
