Examples of someone playing bass on a Fodera?

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm in search sound clips of someone playing simple rock basslines on a Fodera. Almost every time I see someone playing a Fodera they are playing way up above the 12th fret. I know there has to be good examples of someone using a Fodera to play a nice, locked-in groove on the E/A strings.

I honestly don't think it's possible to play a straight rock bass line on a Fodera.

Anthony Wellington(Vic Wooten's Bass guy/tech) plays a lot of the actual bass stuff while vic is doing his thing. Definitely a man that knows how to hold down a groove, and it's on a Fodera

It's not. Your hands cramp and form a claw until you move them above the 12th fret. Them they stretch out and you can magically play anything you ever dreamed.

I've heard he also has a Ken Smith and he doesn't even play any gospel on it! (almost impossible for what I've heard)

and for all of those who saw the video :C I'm sorry..you'll die in 7 days.... nah the video showed me two things:

1) there are REALLY weird things out there in the world

2) Fodera's either sound great...or they auto-magically make you sound great (the old 6 band EQ: volume, bass, low mids, high mids , treble, awesomeness)

I sometimes wear a Fedora when I play bass. Hope that helps.
