EXPECTED SOUND TO CHOOSE

I am thinking of building a fretless SC bass and am wondering the package choices to assembly it. It will be a Spansh cedar body and an ebony fingerboard on a limba neck with wenge stringers. Low weight. My wondering and uncertainty involves whether I would like to use one Nordstrand Big Single and Nordy preamp OR go Bartolini M56 dual coil through a Stellar tone pot OR an EMG 45 dual coil setup. Can anyone answer this comparison as to what each might sound like. who KNOWS? Thanks.

OK. So I will go with the EMG 45 DC package. It has that tonal sound that you can hear so well in the mix that I have been looking for . Thanks for all the replies and help in this matter. Let he who has ears hear. Peace. David
