Hey
First post on here
I did a search on Extended Range Basses and it came up with some really awesome threads with great basses.
But I"m really just looking for the names and builders so I can have a look at all of them and make a good critical desicion
So post up all the extended range bassist makers you know of!
From the very expensive to the cheapies.
To the most custom to the most direct stock.
Looking for a 7 string or more.

Also, you can take time to drool over pictures of John Turner's collection, our resident ERB expert and Moderator. New Family Pic
Here's a list of a few 7+ ERB builders. You can easily find them via Google.
Conklin - In addition to the Custom Conklins per their website, also look up the Conklin GT (Groove Tools) line, as they are relatively low priced production models

Clearly, they are not for everyone, and that's okay, it's a big world.

Jerzy Drozd, amazing masterpieces. JC Basses, they look nice. David Pushic custom basses (I don't know much about these).
I dream of an 8-string bass. Some day it will be mine. I don't think I'll be able to afford it, but...

Truth be told, anybody listed are incredible luthiers, great people, and will work with you to make a product you want in a body style that you want. You can't go wrong with any of them.
