I did some searching and it looks as though there is no club for extolling the virtues of/ogling extended scale basses like there are for short and medium scale basses What the what?
Extended scales are awesome. Much more fundamental, cleaner top, potential for lower action/lighter strings, and more. Suffice to say, I love them and I bet I'm not the only one. I think that to qualify, your bass' scale has to be longer than the standard 34".
