Fair price for a Sukop?

Hello all. A Sukop Classic 5 string just popped up on Guitar Center's used site for $1750 with case. Is this a good price? Also, what are these basses like?

Great basses, just not what i like. iF you can go and play it do so first, then decide. it a fair price. But i am sure you can talk em down 1-200 bucks, or just save on taxes.

I did not like how it felt in my hands, could have been the set-up, i don't know. And it was not the sound i was after. But i am sure they are great Basses. I actually tried it the very same day i tried an ELRICK, and i fell in love with the ELRICK. If you can play it then do so before you decide.

Just saw that Sukop at gc in San Jose. It looks great but one of the pickups is dead.

Yes, I found it on line and bought it but, I found out the pick up problem and some unprofessional work on the truss road cavity that I had to pass on it, it looked like they glued the truss road if there was no wood so they filled the cavity with glue ,so I just returned and got my money back! The guy at GC told me that that was normal becasue of the neck trough body but in all the basses I have had never noticed glue around the truss road.
