Is this a fair trade?

This weekend I was hanging with some bass players, assorted musicians, etc., we jammed, had a few laughs etc. One of the guys really liked my 2010 G&L SB-2. It's black with a gun oil maple neck/fingerboard. He offered me a choice in a straight up trade - a 2010 American Olympic White P-bass or his 2011 candy cola American P-bass. both have maple necks/fingerboard and are like new! I was very tempted but said I wanted to think about it. No, alcohol was not involved. I'd like to hear from the court of public opinion. Your thoughts? Thanks!

I'd go for it. The Candy Cola finish looks amazing.

The Candy Cola ones were dumped hard at least twice for some mysterious reason, like half+ off. Like that gray pearl, they once went for $499 at GC on a holiday sale.

Every time I see one, I know there goes a fellow bargain-hunter.

A white Precision in good shape you can sell anywhere, any time. The classic bass.

There's a reason why he liked your bass better than either one he has.....
