Fake Geddy Jazz Club?

Sign in to disble this ad
I recently made a "Geddy" Jazz out of a used SX body, used AllParts B&B neck, used Geddy pups and Fender replacement hardware & control plate for around $350. The thing sounds and plays so friggin' good, I had to start a club.

Anyone out there do something similar? If not, I guess I'll be the only member. I just got done playing it though, and had to give it some more love on here.

My main player is a blue MIM jazz body with a Squier VMJ neck, Geddy pickups, a Bad Ass II bridge. I call it my "poor man's Geddy".

Also have a MIM body with a Geddy neck on it. And a Squier three tone sunburst with an Allparts bound and blocked neck on it that looks like the sunburst Geddy model.

Wow, a dishonest person would've sold it at the price of a Geddy Lee, except he would sell it as a "Geddy Li".

He did say the neck was used, not new.

Yes, it was used and installed on another bass. Holes had to be plugged and re-drilled.
