No BS.... Straight to the point. Which is better??:

The OLP 'Ray 5'er?? Or,the new import EB 5's (Ray 35?)??
It seems that I've seen remarks regarding that the OLP versions are better?? But,I could be wrong......

I've been very impressed by the entire Sterling by Musicman line.

If appearance means anything, I like the Sterling Ray better. In silverburst especially.

For what you pay for a new SBMM you could probably find a SUB for the same price.

Ray35 is very very close to real stingray. OLP only looks the same. Sounds completely different and build quality is not as good.

I thought the Sterling series was pretty nice. If you need a stingray style bass, it definitely will do it.

I've never liked OLP, and I don't like the finish on the SUB's, especially on the neck.
