fanned vs non-fanned frets on a 8 string?
 

Hi, im currently getting an 8 string bass made (tuned F# to F) and i was originally going to get it as 36"-33", but im like the feel of my 6 string bass that is at 34", it feels perfect. Ive also never tried fanned frets.
Any help on helping me reach aa descition would be good :)
