The "Fastest" Bass You've Ever Played

If you had to choose 1, what is the fastest, most nimble bass you have ever played?

By fastest, I mean in terms of both hands being able to move at maximum velocity with ease. Feel free to interpret that as you wish...

Ibanez SR800 - just so easy to get around - followed by the SR500.

I find I move faster with a bigger neck so it would have to be either my ESP Surveyor II or my Rickenbacker 4003FL with honorable mention to the Steve Harris Precision Bass I tried in the Sam Ash and the Fodera I tried in the Guitar Center. That thing practically played itself though so not sure if it should count.

Of course, if by "fast" you mean thin; Ibanez SR series </thread>

A Status Stealth I think, or maybe a Vigier Passion. Both seem to play by themselves.

Ibanez SR500. The combination of the slim neck, close spacing, and low action make it just super fast.

Despite the 34.5" scale, my FBass was hard to beat.

Fender Steve Harris Precision. My favorite bass I've ever played.

The 57' AVRI I played earlier today was pretty awesome too.

BC Rich Paulo warlock spalted maple and Jackson JS3. Little bit wider then ESP Ltd & Ibanez SR but the back profile makes up for that and theyre necks are just faster easier playing to me.

Ibanez Soundgear, i think it was the 400, i had it back in high school and i loved the way it looked and played but i didn't like the sound of the active electronics

I like a lot of necks, usually it's the strings that determine the ease of playing for me.

Always wonder what those compound radius fingerboards do to more chordal playing around the 12th fret. Have to try one. Also, Tobias Asymmetrical necks might have an effect. Never played a Soundgear either. I need to get some basses.
