I'm the only one not purely acoustic. My favorite wood is still tight flame koa so now I'm looking for a stain for the maple body that will make it look more like koa.

That said, if forced to choose I'd probably say that redwood is my favorite. Here's my ACG 6: |

Beautiful. 28 frets and 11 strings WOW. Nice | Well, she just got here this morning, and she does make my Warwick 6er feel like a lovely short-scale 4. Ironically enough, the strain on my back is still more bearable than the lower horn stabbing my thigh. My workouts have been adjusted accordingly to now focus on shoulders, back, and legs though.
No band as of yet, just something about always having an essay to write or a midterm to study for gets in the way of it. BUT! I will play it at a church this Wednesday and Sunday and see if my body can manage it for an hour or so. That will be the true test of endurance and whether I am in over my head or not with this one. I'm still getting accustomed.
Thank you for the kind words

If I could have a bass to match these plugs, and...well I'd probably make that plug into 3 smaller plugs rather than stretch that big, but yeah! Amboyna burl I believe is what that one is. Maybe Camphor or Redwood... Beautiful regardless

| | | | I like the darker woods as a top for bass(walnut, cocobolo). I used to have an eye for flamed/quilted maple. That changed as I got older. |

String spacing is 16.5mm give or take depending on string gauges.
