Does anybody know if Matt is still building or if the company even exists anymore. I tried emailing him yesterday. The last website update looks to be in 2011. Any information would be helpful.

I think he's still building, although my understanding is that he lowered his workload quite a bit - but he just posted on the FBB BassWorks Facebook on Thursday that someone had posted a request on his website but without any return contact information:

I received a request for a quote on my website yesterday that had no return address. It was for a six string with EV0 fretwire. If this was you, email me with a return address!

So he's definitely still active and clearly taking commissions. And he posts photos somewhat regularly there from the stuff he's working on.

Of course, if you're looking for an FBB Bass...

He's still building. I've seen recent builds and builds in progress on FaceBook.

I do see that he is still actively building. However, it seems difficult to get a hold of him.

It's been a while since I talked with him, but last time I did need to ask him a question, he responded pretty quickly to his matt@fbbcustom.com email (and he also puts his phone number on the contact page of his site).
