Cause I put my Jazz neck on it
My 94' Foto Flame I had up for sale here on TB. I'm so glad I didnt sell it. Lots of mojo and vintage tone. I didnt really have any issues with the P neck cause its nice and thin profile wise. But man, with the J neck it just screams. Dare I say it even has more sustain with the different neck on it now.
All I had to do was put a piece of folded construction paper between the neck and the top side of the neck pocket to shim it slightly and it was good. No intonation needed, nothing. Very seriously considering having a brass nut put on it.
The neck is a 89' MIJ btw with a nice slick almost ebony feeling rosewood board.
