fell for T-40s

several months ago I got a killer deal on a T-40 and just fell in love with my "Frankenforty" and longed for an all-original that was cool... last week I found a siennaburst with rosewood and couldn't pass it up.

pounded on it last night at rehearsal for hours. LOVE IT.

Glad you kept the split-p in there...nice character!

And congrats on that schweet SiennaBurst. Looks like mine T's long lost twin brother. If you don't mind me asking, how much coin are those fetching these days?

Man, I want to try out a T-40.

Normally, even in Canada, you could probably (correct me if I'm wrong) score one for about 200$. But with the desire for T-40's on the rise (no thanks to TB) they're probably closer to 400$ now.

engine, it depends. they go anywhere from $200 to $600. I would not pay more than about $300-$400 personally. I got the sienna for $250 and the natural was a package deal with a '78 carvin head and 4x12 for $400 - sweeeeeet deal!

If you got that Sienna for $250, you're a thief.

I'm not sure what they weigh for sure, but they weigh the same and weigh considerably more (like darn near twice) than my Fender pbass deluxe. they are heavy for sure. but, so am I!

Excellent self defense weapon in a pinch, and with the tones set at about 6, a really excellent music maker.
