Not sure how much does it worth? Got a chance to buy a Fender 1967 neck (beat up condition). The guy ask me to give him a offer but I not sure how much should I pay.

How bad is it? It will affect the price a lot, I'd think.

I've seen the neck, fret and tuner peg is ok. A few age condition on the fretboard due to playing and jsut old i guess.

Now the tricky bit, the head stock.

The stock decal is coming off so it may need some work doing to sit the original decal back on the head stock.

Thats about it really. I know the chap that sell the neck, he prefer to sell it to me so I don't want to offer to cheap to rip him off.

As I understand it, very few Fender basses were made in 1967. After CBS took over, they used all the existing stock and made few new parts.
In the US, the neck would probably sell for $700 - $1100, depending on condition / originality / issues.

Is a Precision neck. I think is a 1967 but I could bw wrong, but definate in the 60's tho.

I was thinking about offering £250 - 300.

If it's a '60s neck and has no structural issues, that's a very good price.

Yeah, i think I will go ask him when I see him next time. I think the neck have no issue except the original Fender Decal is coming off ..... maybe their is a way to refinish the headstock and decal to a good condition.
