| Fender 4 String,Versus A Fender 5 string Neck Plate?

Is a Fender 4 string neck plate the same as a Fender 5 string neck plate? I am building a project bass and need a neck plate to finish the job. I have a Fender 5 string Deluxe and the plate does not look to be any bigger than a 4 string plate.
