Fender 50s Precision(MIM) or Jazz Power Bass(MIJ)?

Sign in to disble this ad
I need help deciding between these 2 basses. Looking at a 50s precision (MIM) on cragslist thats up for $550. As well as athis power jazz from here on talkbass(FT/FS 1988 Fender Power Jazz Bass MIJ $345.00). Which looks pretty damn sweet for under $400.

Was really looking to get a p bass, but this power jazz caught my eye. I really like that its a P body and I have the jazz pickup as well as the P pickup. Someone sway me!

wwell bro i used to have a p bass lyte that was similiar to the power jazz, good bass for what it was,but theyre completely different i think, the 50s has a massive 1.75 neck that honestly is taking me some time to get used to,and i love p and stingray necks. The power jazz i think should have the jazz neck which is something to think about as well, though ud probably get more tonal variety from it.but idk maybe help a tb brother out and keep his bass in the family.either way ur gonna get ur precision tone.
