I don't think the MIA's are full 19mm. More like 18.5-18.75 and the MIM's are closer to 17.5mm unless they have new specs.

So the Fenders are about 17.5-18.75, do they measure from the center of the string to the center of the next string?

BTW, any info on a Music man 5 string? In your opinion, whats a standard spacing?

Thanks for your help, I been searching for the right 5s bass.

They are tight but I don't think they are that tight. More like 17mm.

Only the Roscoe Beck is a full 19mm. The 2008 and more recent ones have some adjustability and go to 18.5mm. Pre 2008 are 17.5

I think my squier affinty J V is close to 19mm,at least the math says so. From center of my E to the center of my B string is 12/16" which comes out to be 19.05mm
