I saw that actually. Mentioned it in the thread about that bass.

That's the only Fender I could see myself playing.

Did Ty's thread get deleted because he doesn't support? He posted this yesterday and I was wondering if they would pull it because of that. Celebrity status might not have pull here at talkbass.

It must have been. I searched before I bumped the old Zamora thread and didn't see any mention of it. Turns out me and Jauqo both posted the link in two places within the same minute of each other. We're both supporting members so it shouldn't be an issue as far as I know.

I posted it because some tb members have expressed interest in the possibility of owning a 6 string Fender bass.

LOL Jaquo! I suppose the Zamora 6 is the one if your headstock simply MUST say Fender.

I always was interested. I was always a Fender guy and I remember one of, if not the first Fender frontline catalog I had had Tye in the artists section with the only 6 string and the most different looking Fender I had ever seen.

I would personally LOVE to own the bass but something tells me it will quickly climb to out of my price range.

It's always a sad day when an artist has to give up a signature instrument.

Probably under, Stanley's Alembics went for about 25K when he let some of them go.

Yeah, there is no way it goes for over $28,000

I am honestly expecting under $10,000 but who knows. I imagine somebody will be paying for this bass more than it's prestige. The guy is a monster player but I cannot imagine too many people cite him as their biggest influence and the reason they started playing. I imagine an even smaller % of that crowd would actually have the bread to buy it.

I wonder why hes selling it in the first place, I love me some alien ant farm but I don't play 6s or have the money to throw away on what this will go for.
