Fender 60's jazz bass

I've had a classic series 50 P for a while and and can't get over what a great bass it is. Sold my Highway P once I got it. Now I have a classic series jazz on the way and would like comments and photos from any Fender classic series 60's jazz bass owners. I have an Oly white one coming and that color was very hard to come by seems like fender is way behind on production. I don't see much about these basses as they fly under the radar for some reason.

The 60's classic series jazz is awesome!!!!! I had a sunburst finish. Took off the pickuard and it was beautiful. Vintage neck radius, vintage frretwire, Great pickups, played and sounded beautiful!! I regret letting that one go.

I miss my 60's classic bass (also sunburst), never should've sold it. I'll probably get another soon. The neck on that bass just feels right to me, a little thicker than other jazz basses I've tried but very comfortable. I also had the 50's classic P but found the neck a little wide for me. Awesome bass, though. Thinking of selling my Lakland and buying both again.
I made some sound clips of mine :

I actually had a couple of the 60's J's at the same time ... and then seen a couple others as well ... FWIW, all were very nice ... finish is absolutely beautiful, and I am a fan of the small radius and vintage frets from the real thing in the 60's ... FWIW, in my personal experience, the older the better for the Classic 60's ... I have an '01 and had the '04 at the same time, and then the couple others I have seen were the newer models ... I cant tell you exactly how/why, but the '01 still lives with me and the rest have gone to homes with more love ... '01 was the first year for them, and Fender also made a FSR of some with matching headstocks on this lot as well ... the current Classic 60's J's I have seen also have the CNC hole under the p/g ... none of the older ones I have had, had it ... they really are a good value, I have seen a few white ones go across the board lately for a decent price ... mine is a little over 8#, and was the lightest one I have seen ...

... interestingly, I have been considering the 50's P also ... I am not a P person, but I keep coming back to the 50's Classic ... all the P's I have had have moved on, and I had some very nice ones including MIM Standards, a few Hwy 1's, and some 70's Americans back in the day, and even a couple of Squiers .... but its been a few years and I think I am almost ready to try another, and it will either be a 50's or a RW ...

... enjoy your new toy ... the white would be very nice ...

Never been able to get the money together for one but I have tried a bunch out and it's a great bass. Definitely on my GAS list.

Over the years I've owned just about every model Fender and a good amount of Laklands now in my later years I just have two basses a classic 50's P and recently added a 60's jazz which I put some flats on and I don't even think about basses anymore as I have exactly what I want. If money was no object I would have kept my AV62P but for value and bang for the buck the classic series is a winner.
